After living in Iowa, Michigan and Illinois, my family relocated to North Carolina three years ago for the warmer weather, beaches and great college basketball. My husband Chip and I have been married for 18 years and have three wonderful children. I started as Director in June 2007 with previous teaching experience at a Montessori preschool and our church in Illinois. My family and I are active members at Pittsboro Baptist Church. I look forward to serving your child and family here at PBP!
Favorite Bible verse: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4

I am married to Jonathan, and we have three children:  Harris, a first grader; Lily, who is blessed to be learning in Ms. Dawn and Ms. Wendy's 3's class; and baby Wren.  We have lived in Pittsboro for five years, and this is a great place to call home after moving around with Jonathan's Navy career for 9 years!  I marvel at each stage of preschool development, but I have come to really enjoy the 1's as the transformation from "baby" to "toddler" is a miracle indeed.  I am thankful to the Lord for PBP's place in my life, both as a mom and as a staff member.  It is my prayer that as I serve the families of PBP that they might be as blessed as I have been by the preschool.

My family and I moved to Chatham County ten years ago from the Philadelphia area and have been calling Pittsboro home ever since. My daughter is an Alumnus of the very first graduating class of our little preschool, and it has been amazing to see the growth and development it’s gone through…much like Chatham County. Four years ago, I decided to join the team here at Pittsboro Baptist Preschool, bringing my background of art education and my love of young children with me.
