Leigh@pittsborobaptistpreschool.org
After moving to North Carolina in 2008, I am happy to call Chatham County home. I am a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church and am excited to have the opportunity to serve as Preschool Minister. I love the small town feeling of Pittsboro and our extended family at church and preschool. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Services from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS with a concentration in Psychology, including Early Childhood Development, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Psychology of the Family. Being the Preschool Minister gives me the opportunity to serve your family and to be an outreach to the community through our church and preschool.

I have been here at Pittsboro Baptist Preschool for 2 years. I have lived in Pittsboro for almost 8 years with my wonderful husband Patrick and our 3 kids. My youngest, who is 4, has attended Pittsboro Baptist Preschool for the past 3 years. Through this, I was able to see the family-like qualities they show as well as watching him progress and grow. This is why it is such an honor to be a lead teacher in the 2’s class. Not only can I be a part of the children’s experience here, but we get to grow together. What a fun time this will be!
